Description: Relatively recently, Peoria completed construction of a section of trail that connects the Ridgeline and Speckled Rattler trails, but their trail map has not yet been updated. So there is now a very nice loop with some decent elevation gain at that park that I don’t think many people know about yet (so let’s keep it our secret, hee hee!) There are 4 trails that form this loop (Multi use Path A, Speckled Rattler, Ridgeline and Crankset), and includes a flat/smooth and wide section, rocky sections, a series of switchbacks, and sections of single track. Nice views.
Driving Instructions: I-17 North to Loop 303 Sonoran Desert Parkway (exit # 221). Left onto Loop 303. Left on N. Lake Pleasant Parkway. Go 1 mile, then turn left onto W. Dixileta Dr. (stop light) into Paloma Park. At traffic circle, stay right and take all the way to the (east) end, park by the Dog Park. There are restrooms at trailhead. Address is 29799 N.
