Hike Description: We will decide route on the day depending on the sunshine and temps. We’ll try to take in the most scenic areas for those not yet familiar with on of Arizona’s most popular hiking areas. There will be some elevation, but nothing strenuous and the trails are usually in great shape making an easy to moderate hike.
Drive Instructions: Take Cave Creek Rd into the town of Cave Creek. As the road bends to go East, watch for Spur Cross Rd to go left. No Light.
Follow SCR as it jogs left, and follow the signs to the trailhead.
There is a pay station inside the park. We meet in the big lot at the end of the road and walk together to the pay station. Fees have recently gone up so have some dollar bills, maybe 10.
