Hike Description: This is a scenic hike in the pines following Horton Creek. There are many photo ops along this trail with lots of small waterfalls (if there is water)  The Fall colors should be abundant and maybe wild flowers too. The ascent is gradual.  Bring gas money to pay the drivers and bring a lunch or snack. This will be our longest hike and longest day away from the valley.

Drive Instructions: From the Target Center,  We will ask for drivers so please volunteer if you can. We’ll carpool to Payson where we stop for a bathroom break and caravan to the TH from there. If the first lot is full, there is an overflow lot that will add half a mile to the hike if we park there.
If you plan to just meet at the TH pls let us know ahead of time we have instructions to drive there.
