“THE LIVES OF MINERS” presented by Michael Ford
“The State of Arizona is covered with the ruins of old mining ventures. Some are large commercial operations such as Bisbee or Ajo. Others are a single lonely tunnel cut into a hill side. I often wondered about the lives of the men who worked in these mines. Please join us on Saturday, January 18th, for a trip in our musical time machine. Using a combination of folk songs and antique photographs, I will show you what the lives of these men were like. We will discuss some of the details of their daily lives showing their hopes, dreams and fears. Come on this grand trip down into the mines and life in the holler!”
Mark your calendars and bring your lunches! You won’t want to miss this!
