Hike Description: This out and back hike goes up for a short time, then descends to the Auga Fria River where we’ll hang out for a bit and then follow the trail back up. This is an alternate way to get to the river than the route we usually take. It’s a bit longer and more elevation change (which I can’t find recorded anywhere)
This is a very scenic hike. You are never far from I-17 but will feel like you are far from civilization.

Drive Instructions: I- 17 North 27 miles, take exit 242 Rock Springs/Black Canyon City.  At the stop, go left to cross over the freeway and turn right. Very soon, turn left on Warner Rd. 0.2 mi. turn right to parking. Restroom here.
