Description:
Trailhead at 7:30
There are 2 ways to arrive at the river. We will choose which route based on the temperature of the day. It should be cooler than the Valley. One is 4 mi. The other is a bit longer so we’ll decide as a group. After a short break at the water (hopefully there’s water), we’ll return by the same trail.
Driving Instructions: from I-17, take the Black Canyon/Rock Springs exit. Go left to cross over the freeway then turn right and a quick left and follow the curves to the TH. Restroom here.
