Hike Description: We did this hike a few months ago and everyone enjoyed it. We go up the Go John Trail and then past the bench we head left. The Maricopa Trail runs along here and the scenery is spectacular no matter what time of year we go. Because of the heat, we’re only planning to go 4 miles but if it’s a cool day and the group decides we can venture farther on Maricopa Trail. It will be an up and back route.

Drive Instructions: Take Carefree Hwy to 32nd Street. North on 32nd. Follow to the pay gate. Past there, just stay on the road .Go past the horse corrals. Pass the rest rooms on your right, then turn left to the big parking lot.
