NMVC THURSDAY HIKES: Ridgeline Trail

Meet Up: 8 am At the Trail Head or contact me 48 hours ahead and I can give your number to others who want to carpool.

Estimated Length in Hours: 2 1/2 – 3 1/2 hrs.
Estimated Distance in Miles: 4 miles on the Ridgeline Trail and an additional opt 2 miles N of the CAP to explore an unengineered unmarked trail . Houses will be built in this area soon. Hopefully they will incorporate trails the public can use .
Description: A lollypop loop takes us first up a rocky ridge giving us some nice views . The 2 mile Trail N of the CAP takes us up close to rocks and through a small pass on one side of Pyramid Peak . This trail has some scree and up and downs . Of course we will see strange rock formations. I saw a pac man rock .
Driving Instructions:I-17 Exit Happy Valley , go west and turn R onto 51st Ave . Travel 0.5 miles at the stop sign turn R on Deem Hills PKWY. In 0.5 miles turn R into the Park . Meet at the dog park taking the second driveway into the park
