(Y/N) Yes \nCarpool Time & Location: Fountain Hills Target east side of lot. at 7 AM be there 10 mins early to work out the drivers/cars going. \nHike Distance (estim): 5 miles \nHike Time (estim): 3 \nElevation Chg (approx ft\, optional): ft \nHike Description: From the general store\, we’ll head East on a counter clockwise loop around the lake. There are many photo ops along this trail so we may be stopping occasionally to view scenery or wildlife. We have spotted Osprey and Bald Eagles in past times.\nBring your lunch and we’ll have a picnic after the hike. Lunches can be left in the car with ice.\nThis trip is an excellent opportunity to experience the amazing view from the Mogollon Rim on the way home. \nDrive Instructions: Take the Beeline Hwy (Arizona 87) to Payson\, (about 1.5 to 2 hrs.)\nDrive into town to Junction with state route #260. Go right (East) past Kohl’s Ranch to where the road tops out on the Mogollon Rim. The lake is about 30 miles from Payson.\nTurn left onto Forest Rd 300\, follow the road for 5 miles to Woods Canyon Lake and the boat launching pad. Park near the general store. Restrooms available.

DESCRIPTION:SugarJam Band is an acoustic music project from Phoenix\, AZ with folk legends Lisa Culbert (vocals)\, Millie Davis (guitar & vocals)\, Claudia Paddock (Percussion\, guitar and vocals)\, Clay Bailey on bass\, along with other guest musicians. They have a unique song collection ranging across all the music genres we know and love. Come witness the jam\, sweetened with velvety harmonies. \n\nCoffee House Saturdays occurs every third and fourth Saturday of the month at the North Mountain Visitor Center (NMVC) located at 12950 North 7th Street in Phoenix. \nFree hot coffee\, refreshments and live music offered from 9 AM to 11 AM. \nAdmission is always free. \n \nDonations to Save Our Mountains Foundation (501c3) are always welcome. Any purchases made at our gift shop go toward supporting facility operations and our nonprofit’s mission of protecting the preserve for future generations.
