DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our open Old-Time Jam Sessions at North Mountain Visitor Center (NMVC). Players of all ages and ability come together in the time-honored tradition of gathering and playing music. \n​We encourage acoustical instruments to share in these traditional tunes. Fiddles\, dulcimers\, banjos\, guitars\, harps\, accordions\, mandolins\, dobros\, zithers\, upright bass\, Irish whistles\, flutes\, bodhrans\, rhythm bones\, spoons\, and more. \nAll are welcome  \nWe have been gathering around the Valley sharing tunes and songs for over 20 years. We play a mix of traditional fiddle tunes\, Appalachian Mountain music\, Canadian\, Irish & Scottish tunes (jigs\, polkas\, reels\, waltzes\, hornpipes) and more. \n \n

David’s musical journey has been a personal adventure\, spanning Americana\, folk\, and the classic tunes that filled his family road trips. He’s also a child of the 80s and 90s\, and those iconic hits shaped his sound. Now\, with just his acoustic guitar\, he’s reinventing these full-band favorites\, bringing a unique and captivating energy to every song. Prepare for a joyful celebration of the classics with a playful twist and a whole lot of heart! \n \nAdmission is always free. \nCoffee House Saturdays occurs every third and fourth Saturday of the month at the North Mountain Visitor Center (NMVC) located at 12950 North 7th Street in Phoenix. \nFree hot coffee\, refreshments and live music offered from 9 AM to 11 AM. \nDonations to Save Our Mountains Foundation (501c3) are always welcome.
