DESCRIPTION:Presented by Rosa Phoenix \n \nJoin us for a relaxing workshop at The North Mountain Visitor Center. \nPlease join us for meditation in nature! Meditation has many benefits including relaxation\, stress relief\, improved mood\, focus\, and creativity. You will be guided through various meditation practices including breathwork\, awareness\, visualization\, movement and stillness.\nThis is a flexible\, safe and inclusive meditation experience that is respectful of all bodies and people from all backgrounds and spiritual or religious affiliations. You are free to meditate\, move your body\, and participate according to your own level of comfort and ability. No experience is required.\nWe will be meditating outdoors\, so please dress appropriately and bring water. Feel free to bring any comfort items you may like such as a cushion or mat to sit on. \nPlease bring your lunch to enjoy on the back patio after the workshop.\nThis workshop is free to the public. Each year\, for 6 months\, hundreds of hikers trek through arid desert\, frozen high sierras\, thick\, lush forest\, and sweeping vistas\, all in pursuit of completing a “thru-hike” of one of America’s most picturesque national scenic trails.  \nTag along with Bridgette\, aka “ZipLoc”\, for a journey from Mexico to Canada over thousands of miles as she brings you along her own thru-hike of the PCT in 2023.
