DESCRIPTION:“We are an acoustic duo that started making music together in 2016. We met in Denver\, Colorado when Georgia came into the bourbon bar that George was playing at. From her seat she started singing harmony to every song. Our voices blended naturally. Soon we became a duo. After a short stay in Austin\, Texas during the pandemic\, we moved to Phoenix in June of 2021. We enjoy our harmonies and unique arrangements of songs from different genres and eras.” \n

DESCRIPTION:Mark Bishop Evans grew up in Southern California where his major musical influences\nwere Gordon Lightfoot\, Peter\, Paul & Mary\, Bob Dylan\, Paul Simon and pretty much any\nfolk\, folk rock\, or beach music.\nHe has a way with words and melodies\, bringing them together in pleasant and poignant combinations. His music is an intriguing blend of folk\, folk rock\, and ballads\, lyrically rich in emotional content and melodically comfortable like a favorite jacket.\nAfter spending 30 years in the Boston area and loving the folk and songwriter\ncommunity\, he has settled in Phoenix and continues to create and perform.

DESCRIPTION:“It’s hard to believe I have been playing music and performing for 50 years. I started playing organ with my Mom. When I got my first guitar I was off and running\, playing campfires and pig roasts\, weddings and backyard parties. My older friends would get me into bars so I could sit in with the bands. I played the folk houses in Dayton\, resorts and lodges in Geneva\, and from here to there in California and Texas. Arizona is where I fell in with the Western crowd\, playing the same music I had been writing and singing for years. I now have my own little genre called South~Western Americana. I hope you enjoy the songs\, stories and poetry.”
