Please bring a sack lunch and be prepared for a jam-packed schedule with tons of scenarios and hands-on experience! \nThe Wilderness First Aid certification is an entry-level course for wilderness medicine. It is highly recommended for anyone who spends time in the backcountry. Whether you are planning on leading a multi-day trip or even a day hiker who wants to be prepared for anything that may come up. Skiers\, kayakers\, mountain bikers\, climbers\, and campers… everyone can benefit from this training! \nWFA courses are offered throughout the year. This area often has burros that if we are lucky that will entertain us along part of the hike. Bring a picnic lunch for after the hike for more socialization. Eagle Ridge Dr.\nEstimated Difficulty: easy/moderate\nEstimated Length in Hours: 3\nEstimated Distance in Miles: <5; ~780ft elevation change.\nDescription: This is a lollipop loop. We start with Promenade trail\, Mesquite Hollow trail\, Sonoran trail\, then crossover to the lower Sonoran trail\, and back to Promenade trail.\nWe have great open view of Four Peaks and Superstitions. Also fountain in Fountain Hills. Mesquite Holllow trail was opened in late December 2024. It is smooth and not rocky. A nice restroom is available at the TH.\nDriving Instructions: Take Shea Blvd to Palisades Blvd. Go North to the 4 way stop and turn left. Drive all the way to the end\, about 2 miles\, to the Adero Canyon Trailhead.
