DESCRIPTION:Please join us for our open Old-Time Jam Sessions at North Mountain Visitor Center (NMVC). Players of all ages and ability come together in the time-honored tradition of gathering and playing music. \n​We encourage acoustical instruments to share in these traditional tunes. Fiddles\, dulcimers\, banjos\, guitars\, harps\, accordions\, mandolins\, dobros\, zithers\, upright bass\, Irish whistles\, flutes\, bodhrans\, rhythm bones\, spoons\, and more. \nAll are welcome  \nWe have been gathering around the Valley sharing tunes and songs for over 20 years. We play a mix of traditional fiddle tunes\, Appalachian Mountain music\, Canadian\, Irish & Scottish tunes (jigs\, polkas\, reels\, waltzes\, hornpipes) and more.

With the muses of Woody Guthrie\, Bob Dylan\, and Bruce Springsteen running through his pen\, Eric sings with the voices of the auto worker and the road-weary\, the veteran and the immigrant\, of people finding their place in the world…for better or for worse. He is a veteran of Arizona’s major folk festivals in Glendale\, Tucson\, and Flagstaff\, and his songwriting has been recognized in nationwide competitions. Eric began performing in New York City bars and coffeehouses in the late 90s and has lived in Arizona since 2002. \n  \n
