DESCRIPTION:LeeLee uses songwriting and storytelling to inspire people to connect in a deeper way to themselves and their world. \nHer love of the western landscape inspires a lot of creativity.  She developed her “Cowgirl Jazz” style over decades of performing by blending the subtle colors and textures of jazz and blues with the powerful storytelling of traditional western music. \nCoffee House Saturdays occurs every third and fourth Saturday of the month at the North Mountain Visitor Center (NMVC) located at 12950 North 7th Street in Phoenix. \nFree hot coffee\, refreshments and live music offered from 9 AM to 11 AM. \nAdmission is always free. \n  \nDonations to Save Our Mountains Foundation (501c3) are always welcome. Any purchases made at our gift shop go toward supporting facility operations and our nonprofit’s mission of protecting the preserve for future generations.

Each year\, for 6 months\, hundreds of hikers trek through arid desert\, frozen high sierras\, thick\, lush forest\, and sweeping vistas\, all in pursuit of completing a “thru-hike” of one of America’s most picturesque national scenic trails.  \nTag along with Bridgette\, aka “ZipLoc”\, for a journey from Mexico to Canada over thousands of miles as she brings you along her own thru-hike of the PCT in 2023. As you follow along on her journey north\, you can expect to learn how someone prepares for a multi-month trip to be self-sufficient in the back country and hear stories of trail culture and personal experiences of life on the trail. \n\nMark your calendars and bring your lunches!\nYou won’t want to miss this! \nPlease bring your lunch and enjoy the presentation.\nThis presentation is free to the public.\nDonations made to Save Our Mountains Foundation are much appreciated.
