Comments: The group hasn’t done this trail for a few years, but it is a nice hike which starts out in the open but soon becomes switchbacks in and out of a wash. Then a partly shaded descent to the water of Oak Creek. The Midgley Bridge is viewed from here.

Rated moderate and kind’a hilly.

Directions: I read that the parking and the beginning of the trail has been changed since we were there, but these directions still work.  Be sure you go to the Trailhead off Schnebly Hill Rd. and NOT THE MIDGLEY BRIDGE TH.

DRIVING: I-17 to the Sedona exit. Head into town thru the many roundabouts to Schnebly Hill Rd. Take S. H. Rd .9 mi. turn left to Trailhead

A Red Rock Pass or America the Beautiful pass is required so if carpooling, make sure one rider has a pass.

Restroom at TH.
